At Bohana, we believe in free-spirit snacking which means listening to your body and doing what works for you! Our popped water lily seeds are not only delicious, but they are the most prescribed seed in Ayurveda, making them the ideal snack for every body type! Besides just eating them straight from the bag, here are a few ways to enjoy Bohana!

Bohana Soup & Salad Toppers

 Think classic crouton, with a twist! Gluten free and guilt free with low calories and fat. Bohana snacks provide the best crunch to jazz up a green salad or hot bowl of soup. Throw some Soulful Spice Bohana on top for an extra kick or some Wild White Cheddar for mouth-watering cheesy goodness!

Crunchy Bohana Bark

Need to satisfy your sweet tooth? Try adding our popped water lily seeds on top of your homemade chocolate bark recipe. It’s super quick and easy! Start by melting some of your favorite dark chocolate. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and spread a thin layer of chocolate over it. Next, sprinkle on some Himalayan Pink Salt Bohana and other toppings such as dried fruit, pretzel pieces or mixed nuts. Even try adding a drizzle of creamy almond butter for some extra texture! Freeze for 10 minutes and devour.

 Bohana Curry

Looking for a light, flavorful, plant-based curry recipe? Popped water lily seeds make the perfect base! Start by sautéing some onions, chopped ginger, garlic, cashews and cumin seeds. Add in tomato puree, red chili powder, coriander, and turmeric. Mix in fresh green peas, simmer then add in Himalayan Pink Salt Bohana popped water lily seeds. There’s nothing better than a refreshing smoothie bowl packed with antioxidants. Add some more goodness to your bowls with popped water lily seeds! The Himalayan Pink Salt adds some nice crunch and compliments the bowl’s sweetness with some salty flavor!

Trail mix 2.0. Whether you’re in the mood for savory or sweet, Bohana is a great choice! If you’re looking for some spice, try mixing Soulful Spice, pepitas and cashews for a nice crunch. If you want something fruity, toss some Himalayan Pink Salt with candied ginger, coconut chips and sliced almonds. And for something a little cheesy, try Wild White Cheddar with mini pretzels and a sprinkle of garlic powder.

Bohana Veggie Tray 

Adding Bohana to your veggie tray is a great way to get a little extra crunch and some additional plant based protein.

Bohana Veggie Salad Bowl  

This cruciferous veggie salad bowl made by @chel_be_well is easy to make with little assembly time and is certainly jam packed with nutrients and all the crunch you should crave! 



Cruciferous Crunch 🥗 Bowl
• 2 cups of @traderjoes veggie and greens salad kit (a mix of cauliflower, brussels sprouts, radicchio and kale. I did not use the dried pear or dressing that is provided in the kit)
• 1 cup of shredded red and green cabbage
• 1/4 cup of sliced watermelon radish
• 1/4 cup of sliced cucumber
• 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
• 1/3 cup sliced red bell pepper
• 2 tbsp chopped pistachios (this came pre-packaged with the veggie and greens salad kit)
• 1 handful of @bohanalife Himalayan pink sea salt popped water lily seeds (These are literally EVERYTHING. I can’t stop snacking on them. A must try!)
• 2 tbsp ofplant based salsa verde dressing
